Your Body's Part in God's Plan

Why is your body so important? God has given you full dominion over this machine and it is built to manage any task so long as it is properly maintained. I don’t want you to just gloss over this statement. Your body can handle anything you throw at it so long as you condition it to do so. Every biological and chemical process within you falls under this umbrella. If you need to be fast and strong, you need to tailor your training to muscular development and coordination. If ailments such as hypertension, diabetes, or chronic migraines render you less effective than you would otherwise be, then it is to your benefit that you incorporate remedies such as stress-reduction techniques and nutritional adjustments. If you often find yourself with low energy it is worthwhile for you to implement a new sleep regimen and eliminate elements contributing to sleep disruption. All of these are examples of the attributes of a body getting ready and becoming able to do the work for which it was designed. This is significant because now that you know that a properly prepared body can get you anywhere you need to go, you can get to the business of preparation, maintenance, and improvement. A poorly maintained body is not in a state that is ready to take the steps which God has ordained.
